Reach a peer, anonymously
Talk with a trained peer supporter who has worked the same lines. You choose a nickname. Your name and email are never shown to them, and your agency cannot see your activity.
The Line · now available
A free peer support and wellness app for public safety professionals — built by dispatchers, for every first responder. Reach a trained peer anonymously, whenever you need to.
Free · No agency access · No unnecessary personal information
Who it is for
The calls come at 2 a.m. They come the night before a holiday, in the middle of a storm, on the shift nobody wanted. Every one of them is answered by somebody sitting in a dark room with a headset on.
The Line is for those people, and for the responders who arrive after them.
Inside the app
Talk with a trained peer supporter who has worked the same lines. You choose a nickname. Your name and email are never shown to them, and your agency cannot see your activity.
Mood, stress and sleep in under a minute. Over time you can see how you have actually been — not how you remember being.
Write your own plan around the schedule you actually work. Connect Apple Health or Health Connect and your check-ins sit alongside your real sleep and activity.
988, Safe Call Now, Copline and more are one tap away on every screen — whether you have an account or not.
Your privacy
Peer support only works if people trust it. So this is written down, and it is not negotiable.
Important
The Line is peer support, not emergency response. Peer supporters are trained peers — not clinicians — and the app does not diagnose, prescribe, or provide treatment.
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. For confidential support any time, call or text 988. Those numbers sit on every screen in the app, and they are never behind a login.
For peer supporters
Download the app and sign in with your usual account. Your peer supporter access carries over — you will see the support queue and be alerted when someone reaches out.
If the queue is not showing after you sign in, close the app fully and open it again. If it is still missing, tell us and we will sort it.
Join dispatchers, medics, officers and firefighters from centers across the country.
