Peer Support
The work behind the headset is heavy. Sometimes it helps to talk to someone who's sat in the same chair. Gold Line Support™ connects telecommunicators and dispatchers with trained peers — confidentially, and on your terms.
What it is
Support from people who get it.
Peer support is a confidential, one-to-one connection with someone who understands the realities of emergency communications — the back-to-back calls, the ones that stay with you, and the toll of always being the calm voice for everyone else.
It's not therapy and it's not a report up your chain. It's a fellow professional, trained to listen, who can talk things through, share what's helped them, and point you toward more resources if you want them.
How it works
Two ways to reach a peer.
Request a callback
Leave your number and the best time to reach you. A peer supporter calls you back — no typing, just a conversation.
Send a message
Start a private, written conversation and reply whenever it suits you — helpful around shift work and when you'd rather not talk on the phone.
You'll create a quick account so your conversation stays private to you and the peer who helps you. A peer follows up as soon as one is available.
Your privacy
Private by design.
Your requests and messages are visible only to you and the Gold Line Support peer team — never to your agency or the public. We built it that way on purpose, so reaching out never carries a professional cost.
Reach out about anything that's weighing on you, big or small. There's no threshold you have to meet to deserve support.
Ready when you are
Reach a peer supporter.
Create an account or sign in to request a callback or start a message. On your phone, you can add it to your home screen for one-tap access.
